Karen is a marketing professional with a track record in energy efficiency, climate change, and 30 years’ experience in the US and UK. Working with residential and C&I programs, utility and government funded programs, Karen has worked in diverse disciplines including strategic planning, marketing, internal and external communications, stakeholder engagement, branding, and digital marketing. She is active in promoting marketing within AESP through publishing articles, facilitating webinars and working with other members to develop AESP conference content on diversity and inclusion.
Jeff's passions include continuously driving for higher efficiency and productivity in everything, especially energy and resource preservation while delivering premium experiences for clients. Career achievements started with earning a Line Officer commission in the Nuclear Navy and graduating from Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory. Jeff worked his way from field engineer to majority owner and CEO of Michaels Energy in twenty years, and has returned to marathoning, completing at least one race in each of the last seven years. In addition to the Bettis, Jeff has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota State University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, respectively.

Ms. Quinn Parker has over 14 years of experience in the energy industry including regulatory finance and analytics, as well as demand-side management program research, design, planning, and implementation. Ms. Parker is CEO of Encolor, a firm committed to supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the energy industry. Encolor provides inclusive strategies and thoughtful guidance, helping clients achieve their operational and equity goals. Ms. Parker is a Certified Diversity Professional (CDP) and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Ms. Parker holds an M.B.A from California State University, Dominguez Hills and a B.A. from Loyola Marymount University.
